The iconic Anna G. Corkscrew, originally designed by Alessandro Mendini for Alessi, has been reimagined for this special edition. Anna G. sports colourful new dresses created by designers Arthur Arbesser, Studio Temp, and Mendini's daughter, Fulvia. Each playful pairing reflects their innovative style. Fashion designer Arthur Arbesser was inspired by the artistic traditions of his home city, Vienna with prints, graphic effects, and unexpected colour combinations. Studio Temp uses graphics from street art, manga, and cyberpunk in dressing Anna G. in a frock with phosphorescent elements that light up in the dark. Fulvia translates her nature oriented design language in a pattern of oak leaves, imagining Anna G. as a character living in the enchanted forest of Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. These corkscrews are made of chrome-plated Zamak and Alki-Paper, a new plastic-like biocomposite material designed to have an ecologically responsible life cycle.
